How to Remove: Safe & Easy

Since our UV Gel Glue creates an incredibly strong bond, patience is key. Follow these steps to remove your Lisanna Nails safely without damaging your natural nail bed.

What You Will Need:

  • Warm water and soap

  • Cuticle oil (or any skin-safe oil like olive or coconut oil)

  • The wooden cuticle stick (included in your kit)

  • A nail buffer

Step-by-Step Removal:

1. Soak Your Nails Prepare a small bowl of warm, soapy water. Add a few drops of cuticle oil to the water. Soak your toes for 10–15 minutes. This helps the warm oil penetrate the edges of the gel bond.

2. Apply Oil to the Edges Apply extra cuticle oil directly around the edges of the press-on nail. Let it sit for a minute to further loosen the adhesive.

3. Create a Small Gap Gently use the flat end of the wooden cuticle stick to lift the edges of the press-on nail slightly. Do not force it. If the nail feels very tight, soak for another 5 minutes.

4. Gently Rock to Lift Once you have a tiny gap, apply more oil into that space. Slowly move the wooden stick under the press-on nail in a "rocking" motion. The gel will begin to release from the natural nail. Take your time—slow and steady prevents damage.

5. Clean Off Residual Gel Once the press-on nail is off, you might see some leftover gel on your natural nail. Simply wipe it away with a cloth soaked in warm water or lightly buff it off with a soft nail buffer.

6. Aftercare Wash your feet to remove the oil and apply a fresh layer of cuticle oil or moisturizer to your natural nails to keep them hydrated and healthy.

Pro Tips for Success:

  • NEVER Rip Them Off: Pulling or snapping the nails off can peel away layers of your natural nail. Always soak until they feel ready to lift.

  • Reuse Your Nails: If you remove them gently, your Lisanna Nails are reusable! Just gently file away any dried gel from the inside of the press-on nail before your next application.
